Place 2 tablespoons of ground coffee in the center of the coffee filter or a coffee bag and tie it using a thread. Make sure you leave enough string at the end so that you can pull it efficiently out of the cup. The amount of coffee you add in the filter depends on how strong you would like your coffee. Place the filter in your mug and pour hot water over it. Allow the coffee to steep for around 3 minutes. Remove the filter out of the mug and your coffee is ready to be sipped upon.

Method 3- Using a saucepan:

This is the simplest methods of all. You just need to mix the ground coffee and water in a saucepan and bring it to boil. Around 1 to 2 tablespoons of coffee would be required for 1 cup of water. After the water has boiled, let it boil for another 2 minutes for the coffee to spread its taste evenly. When the coffee reaches a boil, turn off the stove and you will see that the coffee settles down below. You do not need a strainer if you strain the coffee mixture slowly in a mug. Your coffee is ready.
